Criteria for Recipients Criteria for Recipients of CSF, INC. The purpose of this document is to ensure that the recipients are selected on an objective and fair basis and that the Advisory Board is given a list of criteria upon which to base their selections for award contribution. A FORM Document will be constructed to inquire of the nominator/nominee that will ask all for the same information. This form will be used by the Advisory Board upon which to base their selections. The information sought by this form will be elaborated on later. As a prescribed explicit purpose, the Carrollton Station Foundation, Inc. wants to raise money for the musicians of New Orleans who have sustained losses as a result of the hurricanes of 2005. We specifically initially desire to assist local New Orleans musicians who work or participate in the music industry of this city and are in fact a part of the music community. Whether a performer, recording artist, engineer, songwriter we specifically are attempting to assist the individuals themselves as opposed to any other charitable organization. We intend to assist first and foremost those who have been affected to the detriment of their contributions to this community and who have the intent to remain here and participate in redeveloping this city's musical environment. It is our specific intent to provide financial assistance to help those who need to get back on their feet and continue providing this city with their particular services. To that end, the AB will make their decisions and the corporation will issue a check in a designated amount. Neither the Advisory Board nor the 3 officers of the Foundation will be eligible as a recipient. In fact the Advisory Board will be provided the candidates on an anonymous basis upon which to make a decision. Only the President and the vice-president of the Foundation will know the identity of the nomination. In the case that an Advisory Board member does in fact recognize the nominee, it will be up to the remaining 4 members as to whether that person holds a conflict that will warrant a recusal of that board member. Conflicts of interest are sure to be perceived through the selection process hence the anonymity by the Board. However, this entire endeavor is borne from the knowledge first hand that many of our friends in the music community have been dealt a serious and almost insurmountable blow to their livelihoods and careers in the music business in the city of New Orleans and it is without shame or caution that we openly seek to assist them through this project.
